SOCIETY OF ST. GEORGE
A scene of activity was presented in the Penwomen's rooms yesterday afternoon, when the Royal Society of St. Georgo held a "bring and buy" sale, in aid of the club funds. Red and white paper covered the stalls, and the walls of tiie room were draped with the red and white flag of St. George. The president, Mrs. P. Heath-Preest, opened the fair. Proof of the energy and ingenuity of the members was shown by the large number of attractive novelties on sale.. The flower stall was especially popular, an unusual feature being a number of beautiful bouquets and sprays already made up.
