QUALITY OF WATER
The merits of water as a beverage came in for discussion at the monthly meeting of the Southland Hospital Board. Mr. J. H. Smith said the water in Riverton was not good. "I do not know about that," said the cliairman, Mr. T. Golden. "When I was at the centenary celebrations there 1 saw a number of persons more than 80 years of age and all looked liaje and hearty." "Perhaps they did not drink water," remarked the secretary, Mr. T. Pryde.
