MARRIED WOMEN IN JOBS
Sir, —Having read " Disgusted's letter ro tbe above, may I beg. space to make some comments on same;lp! Being a married woman myself, I harelip met many in the same position, work«i§|| ing for feasons otlier than the for money. It would do "Disgusted" good to find out the facts as to just why many of/these women do carry oh' © with the good work, and maybe she : '>- 5 would be very glad that she was single, even though out of work. May i also tell her that in the' 1 V majority of working families, should they be lucky enough through mother's efforts to own a motor-car, the work- - ing mother of that household would be the one to ;use it the least. lam V sure, should she try hard enough, there is plenty of work .offering for single girls if they really want it, and personally I hope that "Disgusted" will never be in the position of being ried and having to go to work, a» none of us do so for the love of it., Facts Fibst'.
