ONEHUNGA METHODISTS
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED Founded in 1855, tho Onehunga Methodist Sunday School observed its 83rd anniversary yesterday, when largo congregations assembled in tho Foresters' Hall. The morning service was conducted by tho Rev. W. G. Sladc and tho afternoon service by tho Rev. J. F. Jack. The superintendent of tho Onehunga circuit, tho Rev. J. D. Grocott, preached in tho evening. At each service a choir of about 200 voices sang appropriate hymns under the conductor-ship of the organist, Mr. J. Edmondson. Mr, Gordon Hookings acted as pianist. Three of the scholars, Miss Mary Kelsey, Miss Marjorio Black and Master Hugh Rowlauds, read the lessons at tho morning, afternoon and evening services respectively, while Miss Paulino Davies contributed voeal solos. * The functionwwats t successfully carried out under the supervision of the superintendent of tho Sunday School, Mr. W.
