INFECTIOUS DISEASES
RETURNS FOR SEPTEMBER Notification of 46 cases of infectious diseases was received by tho central Auckland health district office for September, compared with 61 for August and <l2 for September of last year. The largest group comprised cases of tuberculosis, which accounted for 14 of tho notifications, while other diseases included erysipelas 11, diphtheria four, and scarlet, fever, tw0.... .. . ' There were also four "cases of infectious disease's in tho ThamesTauranga health district.
