DR. DUGALD MACFARLANE INFECTION OF THE THROAT [BY TELI2GBAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT ] CHitISiTCErURCH, Sunday. The distinguished churchman, the Very Rev. l)r. Dugald Macfarlane, recently Moderator of the Church of Scotland, was admitted to a private hospital yesterday suffering from an infection of the throat. Dr. Macfarlane attended the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church as official delegate from, the Church of Scotland and has been speaking; in various centres in the 60uth. He was unable to preach as arranged to-day. Dr. Macfarlane is reported to ba making as good progress as can be expected,, It is anticipated that ho will be ablo to preach again at the end of the week.
