SUDETEN REFUGEES
WORKERS FOR DOMINIONS CANADA AND NEW ZEALAND NEED IN LOCAL INDUSTRIES LONDON, Nov. 8 The Prague correspondent of the Manchester Guardian states! that representatives of New Zealand and Canada will unofficially ' visit camps in which there are German refugees from Sudetenland. They are tentatively interested in workers suitable for local industries. The paper adds that 80 per cent of the Germans from Sudetenland are highly skilled. A report from Bucharest states that 500 Sudeten German Jewish refugees embarked from Constanta by a steamer bound for Liberia.
The Health Commissioner reported that they went contrary to the owners' declaration that the vessel was not a passenger but a cattle ship and had no sanitary arrangements, no doctor and no medical supplies.
