GOOD WISHES EXPRESSED (Received November 9, 10.40 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 0 The Duke of Kent presided nt the festival dinner of the British Sailors' Society, at which references were made to his coming departure for Australia. Sir Lionel Halsey, who accompanied the Duke of Windsor on his visit to Australia and New Zealand, said: "There have been many Australian Governors from the sea, but the. Duke of Kent is the first sailor GovernorGeneral. We will miss him and will follow his career 'down under' with interest. We hope he will have success and happiness."
