SUPPLY IMPROVEMENTS £4500 LOAN PROPOSAL Tho Northcote Borough Council hM applied to the Local Government Loans Board for |>ermission to borrow £4ouu for water supply improvements. Security for the loan will be a special rate of one-third of a. penny in the pound on the unimproved value over the whole borough. The following works are contemplated The construction of an additional reservoir of a capacity or 250,000 gallons; ■ at an estimated cost of C.'WOO: the provision in Onewa Road of a new water main,' din in diameter, feting £790; the concrete, lining of the water mams for the n" 1 length of Raleigh Road. :£200;/and the purchase c.f a chlorination plant, tor £2lO. * . . ■
