SCHOOL WIRELESS SET
WHANGAREI INSTALLATION [from otra OWN correspondent] "WHANGAREI. "Wednesday At a meeting of the Whangarei school committee last night' it was decided to instal a modern wireless in the school, with speakers in all classrooms, with one outside at the assembly grounds. The whole installation will bo controlled from the headmaster's office. The Begent Penny Bank Fund trustees have donated tho sum of £2l 10s tctvard the cost of the outfit, and tho committee has decided to make an appeal to the parents of the pupils for the balance of tho money required.
