FUNCTION AT KAITAIA MANY BLOOMS DISPLAYED [by telegraph—own correspondent] KAITAIA, Wednesday The Kaitaia Horticultural Society held its spring show to-day. In spite of the high wind which prevailed during the last week and did a certain amount of damage, the exhibits achieved a creditable standard, both in quantity and quality. The champion rose, entered by Mis. Northwood, was a fine bloom, as also was an antirrhinum exhibited bv Mrs. Paulson, which won the New Zealand Horticultural Society's certificate The decorative section was of special interest, containing some fine examples of floral artistry.
