Monday Efforts to resuscitate • the Upper Wairoa branch of the Farmers' Union at Tungiteroria wore successful when a largely-attended meeting decided to reform the branch. Officers were elected as follows: —President, Mr. A. A. McLauchlan; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Hemphill and 0. D. Windust; secretary and treasurer, Mi\ K. T. Stocks; committee, Messrs. R. G. Murdoek, J. P. Hemphill, H. Horrobin, I?. J. Bale, P. ü ßiddle. E. V. Wilson; delegate to the Northern Wairoa sub-provincial executive meetings, Mr. A. A. McLauchlan.
