PIRATE SHIP CARNIVAL
Many town visitors were included among the dancers at the weekly oldtime carnival held at the Pirate Ship, Milford, on Saturday night. On, the stage a drop curtain depicted a cool woodland scone, and on the cubicle tables and in the supper room wore vases of loeland poppies. A programme of excellent numbers by the cabaret orchestra of six instruments was warmly appreciated, and included modern waltz tunes, one-step, and two-stop items. The distribution of favours and novelties, and the release of. balloons for the final dance, added to the enjoyment of the evening.
