Silv-er is. quoted at 19 *7-1 (id an oz. spot and 10Jd forward, compared with 21 i<l" rind 20Jd yesterday. The quotation for silver at per fine oz. yesterday was 21 3-16 d, same as on October 27. BRITISH TREASURY BILLS British Wireless RUGBY. Oct. 28 The total amount applied for this Week'in tenders for £35.000,000 worth of Treasury bills was £72",495.000. The maximum amount was allotted in bills at three months. The average rate per cent was 10s compared with 13s 8.91J n week ago.
