DAMAGE IN COLLISION AUCKLANDERS INVOLVED ONE SENT TO HOSPITAL [llY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] ROTOR.UA. Monday An unfortunato ending to a week-end spent in Rotorua befell three Aucklanders, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Allan and Mrs. Clark, of Kitchener Road, Takapuna, when they were returning to their homes early this afternoon. Tho motor-car, which was driven by Mr. Allan, had negotiated a corner on the Mamaku Hill Road about eight miles from Rotojua when it was involved in a collision with a motor hearse belonging to Hamilton and driven by Mr. George S. Saunders. Tho force of tho impact damaged both vehicles extensively. Mrs. Clark received severe injuries to a leg and shock and Mrs. Allan was slightly bruised. Mr. Allan and tho driver and two passengers in tho hoarse escaped unhurt. Mrs. Clark was taken to tho Rotorua Hospital in an ambulance.

BOY'S THIGH FRACTURED CYCLING NEAR HIS HOME [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday A fractured thigh was received by a boy, John Somerville, aged 10 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Somerville, of To Rapa, when he came into collision with a motor-car while riding his bicycle near his home this afternoon. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, where his condition is reported to be not serious.

MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED COLLISION AT OTAHUHU Concussion and head injuries were suffered by a motor-cyclist, Harold Mervyn Palmer, aged 16, of Queen Street, Onehunga, when he was involved in a collision with a motor-car driven by Miss Belle McKay, of Blomfield Spa, Takapuna, on the main south road at Otahuhu shortly before 7 o'clock last night. Tho injured youth was taken to tho Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. Hjs condition last night was stated to be fairly serious.

PEDESTRIAN STRUCK SEVERE HEAD INJURIES Severe head injuries, which include a possible fracture of the skull, were suffored by a middle-aged man, Mr. James Hughes, who resides at the Salvation Army Homo in Lome Street, when he was knocked down by a motorcar at the corner of Kitchener Street and Wellesley Street East yesterday. The injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. his condition last night being reported as fairly serious.

FALLS AT HOMES TWO WOMEN IN HOSPITAL Falls at their homes resulted in two Auckland women each suffering a fracture of an arm yesterday, Mrs. Mary Ann Keith, of Castle Street, Grey Lynn, and Mrs. Sarah Ann Stanton, aged 68, widow, of New North Road, Kingsland, being the persons injured. Botli were admitted to the Auckland Hospital.
