PORT OF AUCKLAND TOLTEN AND LACKLAN The Union Company's chartered motor-ship Tolten, from the Pacific Coast, via Papeete and Rarotonga, will now arrive at six o'clock this evening, berthing at Queen's Wharf. She has cargo for discharge at main ports. Ihe British tanker Lacklan, with fuel oil from Balik Pa pan for the Shell Companv, arrived yesterday morning and berthed at Western Wharf. She should sail on Thursday for Wellington to complete discharging. The British steamer Da If rum, discharging lumber from British Columbia at Pfince's Wharf, will sail to-day for Melbourne. She will berth at Central Wharf. The Union Company's steamer Karepo arrived late last night from Greymouth. She will berth at King's Wharf this morning. The Union Company's steamer Korowai, now discharging Australian cargo at Wellin?ton, is expected to leave to-day for Napier and Aurkland. Expected this morninp from the East Coast, the Richardson Line motor-vessel Pakura will berth at Kings Wharf and sail later in the day on her return.

The Union Company s steamer Kairanga at King's Wharf, is expected to sail ttvday for Svdne.v to dock. She will load at Newcastle, Port Kembla and Sydney for Auckland. KAIMATA FROM MONTREAL The M.A.N.Z. Line motor-ship Kaimsta will reach Auckland from Montreal at eight o'clock on Thursday morning. THE PORT JACKSON The Port Line motor-ship Port Jackson, at Queen's Wharf, is expected to sail for London via Cape Horn, on Thursday. ARMADALE TO MORROW The A and A. Line motor-«hip Armadale, from New York, will arrive at seven o clock to-morrow morning. RANGITIKI'S DISCHARGE To complete discharge of cargo from London the New Zealand Shipping Company s liner Rangitiki, at Queen's Wharf, should sail to-morrow evening for W T ellington. - THE WAIMARAMA On her maiden voyage the Shaw. Savill and Albion motor-ship Waimarama was expected to leave Liverpool oi Saturday for Auckland, where she is due on November 23.

MATUA LEAVES APIA Cabled advice has been received that the Union Company's passenger motor-ship Matua left Apia at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday for Suva and Auckland. She will arrive here on Monday UNION' COMPANY CHARTER The British motor-ship Riley, of 4003 tons gross. has heen taken on time charter by the Union Steam Ship Company. The Riley, which was built at Sunderland in 1936, was due at Sydney yesterday from Vancouver. MONTEREY SOUTHBOUND En route from San Francisco, the Matron liner Monterey will clear Suva to-day, for Auckland, where she is due at seven o'clock on Fridav morninfr. The Monterey will reave here for Sydney at 10 o'clock the same night REMUERA LOADING Arriving: vesterday morning from Napier, the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera berthed at Central Wharf to complete loading for London and West Coast ports of Britain. She will sail finally, via Panama, next Tuesday. WARSHIPS' MOVEMENTS The Admiralty survey ship Endeavour returned last night from Hauraki Gulf and will berth this morning at Western Wharf to bunker. The cruiser Leander and the escort vessel Wellington will leave for the gulf this afternoon and will he followed to-morrow by the minesweeper Wakakura. G. S. WALDEN AND ORA Cabled advice has been reiceved that the British mptor-tanker G. S. Walden left Sumatra last Tuesday for Auckland, where she is due about November 5, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She will discharge to the Vacuum Oil Company. The same company has chartered the Norwegian motortanker Ora. which will leave San Francisco on November 3 for Auckland. Wellington and Lyttelton. The Ora. of 0.">37 tons gross, was launched last year. She should arrive at Auckland about November 24.
