UNIVERSITY BOAT RACE OXFORD MAN AT CAMBRIDGE LONDON, Oct. 17 Thorp is a likelihood that University boat rato history will be made as a result of A. M. Hodgson, who stroked Oxford to victory in 1937-38, now having gone to Cambridge to take a •pecial degree which makes him avail- • able to row for Cambridge. No instance is known in which a man j has represented one university in the boat ra<-e after having rowed for the other one.
