SPY PLEADS GUILTY

GERMAN IN AMERICA SENTENCE DEFERRED NEW YORK, Oct, 10 Guentha Rumrich to-day pleaded guilty to espionage. His sentence has been deferred. It is announced that he will be a Government witness against the other defendants, the trial of whom has been postponed until Monday after the selection of a jury. Four suspected German spies, Johanno Hoffman, Guentha Rumrich, Erich Glaser and Otto Herman Voss, were arraigned on June 22. All pleaded not guilty. Carl Hermann, identified as a Gestapo (German secret police) agent, was held as a material witness. Another member of tho same organisation, Edwald Rosenberg, was believed to have fled to Germany.
