TE AWAMUTU VALUES HEAVY BEEF YARDING DEMAND FOR DAIRY HEIFERS At the To Awalniitu stock gale's today the Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, had practically a capacity yarding. Ox beef values were in advance of Frankton quotations.

The market for cow beef also had a brighter (one than at Frankton, competition being good from a large bench of buyers. Practically a total clearance was effected of the large yarding. MORRINSVILLE VALUES PRIME STEERS MAKE £l4/10/The Farmers Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports the entry of ox beef at Morrinsville included two pens of medium prime steers offered on account of Messrs. Howie Bros., Morrinsville. The demand was stronger than last week, two pens realising £l3 7s to £ll lOs respectively. Xo good quality cow beef was offered, the entry comprising killable Jersey rows. RATES FOR STATION CATTLE The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports a special sale of station-bred East Coast cattle at Morrinsvilie. A large attendance of bnyers from .all parts of tho Waikato was present. The advertised entry came forward in good order, the majority of the yarding drafting up well. A feature of the yarding was the excellent quality of the offering, which was greatly appreciated by buyers. No big steers were penned, hut well-bred two-year-old and three-year-old steers met with good competition and sold fully up to expectations.
