Ballet's in 10 Countries
Some interesting statistics indicate the extent of the travels and organisation of the Govent Garden Russian Ballet, -which has commenced its Australian tour at His .Majesty's Theatre, Melfcotiiiie. ""Until 'Janaffry l of this yea?} the company: has given 1545 performances in 157 cities in 10 countries, having travelled 200,000 miles in all. It carries with it over 100 tons of scenery and costumes, the latter totalling over 5000. Members of the company have spent three months on the Atlantic, and seven more months on 1 trains.
