MODEL YACHTING
POINT CHEVALIER CLUB The report presented at the annual meeting of the Point Chevalier Model Yacht Club, which was held in the Sailing Club's pavilion, stated that the past season had heen a very successful one. Good entries had been received and some close finishes recorded. The statement of accounts showed a credit balance of £l3 on the year's working. The commodore, Mr. •E. J. Betterton, who presided, thanked the outgoing officers for tneir co-operation and also the ladies' committeo for their valuable assistance during the season. The election of officers resulted as follows; Patron, Sir Ernest Davies; vicepatron. Lady M. Davis; president, Mr. M. J. Co.vlc; vice-presidents. Messrs. W. G. Whitten, W. A. Wilkinson, A. G. McKeown. T. Courtney; commodore, Mr. E. J. Betterton, vice-commodore, Mr. H. F. Burnett; rear-commodore, Mr. F. Ryan; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. H. J. Oliver; assistantsecretary, Mr. F. Harris; committee, Messrs. O. J. Watson. E. Walker. M. McKay, C. H. Paull, O. Bell, J. Frances; bandienpper, Mr. E. J. Betterton; judge, Mr. C. H. Paull; starter and timekeeper ( Mr. F. Harris. The club will open its season on November '.' O.
