PLUNKET SOCIETY AIDED A bridge afternoon in aid of the funds of the Plunket Society in Tnuranga was held recently. The committee comprised tho president, Mrs. L. R. Williamson, tho hostess, Mrs. Meiklo, tho secretary, Miss Stewart, and Mrs. Glacken, Mrs. Thompson, Airs. A. Woods, Mm, Robinson, Mrs. Kirkhy and Mrs. Lawrence.

Tho players included Mrs. CramerRoberts, Mrs, A. Bell, Mrs. Cutforth, Mrs. Gifford, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. T. Hijjli, Mrs. McKerrow, Mrs. Hodgekins, Mrs. Bartlett, - Mrsr; Steel, Mrs. Ivory, Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Granger, Mrs.' Bbak, sen., Mrs. Deacon, Mrs. Lewis, Mrs." Wilson, Mrs. N. Grebn, Mrs. W. Andrews, Mrs. W. Bell, Mrs. Forbes (Auckland), Mrs. Tudhopo, Mrs. Ward, Mrs- Macara, Mrs. M. P. Munro, ,Mrs O'Harn, Mrs. B. P. Andrews, Mrs. Beswick, Miss Miller (Scotland), Miss Douglas, Miss O'Hara. The "Get Together Circle'' held an interesting evening at tho Lyceum Club in Tauranga recently. _ The entertainment included a moving picture display and songs, contributed by Mrs s Hearst. Her accompanist was Mr. Wobb.
