RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on the New Zealand Stock Exchanges and the yield at the quoted price. The exchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is included, and allowance, is made for British incomo tax where necessary, but no allowance is made for brokerage, nor are bonus dividends taken into account. The yield on Government loans includes redemption.

THE MINING MARKET metal values improve ADVANCE IN MOUNT LYELLS ? Values for metal issues improved sharply at the final call in the mining market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Mount Lyells were lifted Is on sale, while both Broken Hill issues strengthened. Mount Morgans sold twice at a rise of 2d. Accommodation movements took place in Marthas.
