M The Maritza 11. was formerly as/ the Cyrena and was owned by 6. F. Bellve. • The launch was brought alongside Queen's .Wharf yesterday and lifted \ on to a large trailer by one of the Harbour Board's crane. The journey to Waikaremoana, a distance of 251 miles, is expected to occupy I&ree days. The contractor expects to be able,to move the vessel without difficulty on ►the principal roads. He will use the« Rotorua-Ruatahuna-Te Whaiti route to the lake if the condition of the road H permits. This will not only save time and distance, but will also give a better obviating the sharp turn at the access road to Mosquito Flat, where arrangements for launching the vessel are being made. The contractor was responsible for the transport of the launch Idalia from Gisborne to Wai- . karemoana two or three years ago, a task which. was successfully accomplished in spite of road difficulties. The purchaser of the launch, which 18 a very up-to-date vessel, is an angling enthusiast and intends to make Waikaremoana his holiday headquarters in future. : .
