Gilchrist presided nt the annual meetiilg -.of tho Waihou Polo Club, which was attended- by a large number .of players and supporters. The balance-sheet Showed tho club to be in a very sound position, there being assets amounting to £4B 7s 7d, including a credit bank balance of jt'22 L2s Bd. ilemborshiiv fee for Jhe current season was again fixed at 10s Od for both playing and . associate members. The Te Aroha Domain at Herriesville will asain bo us«d as the club's playingr area,.and thoro is every indication oi having two cup teams in tho field. It is proposed to commence the season on October 22 with a general practice, and tlic club's oponing day will be hold in November, when it is hoped to have some visiting teams in attendance.
