RECORDER AT FREMANTLE To carry out repairs to two submarine cables not far from the coast, ? the British cable repair-; ship Recorder arrived,-ai Fremantle from Batavia last month. "The faults in each case are estimated to be about 20 miles from Fremantle. Oneyis in the old cable between Fremantle/ Cocos Island, laid down iij.l9ol, and the other is in the Cottesloe-Adelaide cable.
