TUAKAU LEVEL CROSSING REQUEST BY TOWN BOARD [FROM ora'own correspondent] TUAKAU, Tuesday The suggested erection of an overhead bridge at the George StreetHarrisville Road level crossing on the Main. Trunk railway s at Tuakau. wa6 before the Tuakau Town Board at its October meeting. The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin; as member for the district, advised the board by letter that he would place their,, request for the bridge before the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple. Tho matter is being pressed in view of the fact that the railway line through Tuakau is to be duplicated in the near future in common with- the whole lino between Auckland and Hamilton.
