CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
FORMATION AT BLENHEIM [UY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] BLENHEIM. Thursday The formation of a Blenheim Chamber of Commerce was unanimously decided upon at a largo and representative meeting of business and professional men last night. The proceedings were marked by keen enthusiasm and it was stated that 107 business men had already promised to join, with definite prospects of raising tho number to at least 250. Tho folio-wing officers were elected:— President, Mr. W. R. Day; vice-presi-dent. Mr. W. J. Girling; executive, Messrs. C. It. Rabbits A. C. Nathan, R. Wanden, \V. Thornber, R. J. Meatvard, l'\ Piatt, J. Smith, W. T. Cresswell, C. G. Whiteford, C. C. Dix, H. Duckworth and W. K. Gill. Mr. F. Mogridgo was appointed secretary pro teni.
