TRAVELLERS ENTERTAIN A social evening was held by the Bay of Plenty Commercial Travellers' Association in the Civic Cabaret, Tauranga, recently. The ladies' committee who assisted with the arrangements comprised Mrs. S. Randall, Mrs. Harold Turner, Mrs. K. Page, Mrs. K. Kennedy, Mrs. George McLaren and Mrs. P. McCulloch. Others present included Mrs. C. H. Burnett, Mrs. A. Bradmore, Mrs. J. Baiter, Mrs. J. Auld, Mrs. A. Carew, Mrs. J. Foster, Mrs. Connor, Mrs. L. Crowley, Mrs. Heald, Mrs. I). Ivory, Mrs. H. Mollgaard, Mrs. H. Anderson, Mrs. 'Boss Clark, Mrs. J. Guinnoss, Mrs. McShanc, Mrs. Morfett, Mrs. K. Lusk, Mrs. Ross Smith, Mrs. W. Robbie, Mrs. H. Rodgers, Mrs. B. Wade, Mrs. B. Wall is, Mrs. Lamport, Mrs. O'Brien,- Mrs. J. Standrin, Mrs. Strang, Mrs. J. Mark, Mrs. T. Moncur, Mrs. Winstone (Auckland), Mrs. D. Mountfort, Mrs. G. Mayfield. Mrs. J. Foxon, of New Plymouth, who has been spending a few days in Taurarfga, is visiting her mother, Mrs. H. Armstrong, at Te Aroha, prior to taking up residence here. Mrs. G. Jarvis has returned from a visit to the South Island. Miss Frances Scully, of Sydney, who has been on a brief visit to Tauranga, has left for Auckland.
