Wednesday :i The eighteenth annual meeting of the To Awamutu Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Association was held recently. Tliß president, Mr. A. H« Storey, presided. The profit and loss account for the year ended May 31 disclosed a profit of £144, the best figure for some years* The balance-sheet showed assets total* ling £203, and liabilities £lB. The secretary, Mr. J. G. Wynyard* reported that Saturday, February 11* }939, bad been allotted as the date of the next show. . The following officers were elected:—' Patron, Mr. W. G. Park; president, Mr. J. S. Pattison; vice-presidents,-Messrs. S. Rhodes, H. R. Clarke, Erio Storey and H. C. Rainey; management committee, Messrs. H. Allen, G. Reynolds, A. W. Gregory, A. H.
