PALESTINE UNREST
ARAB STRIKE AT HAIFA ATTACKS ON JEWS CONTINUE (Received September '_'2, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Sept- 21 Official advice received from Palestine states that a strike of Arab workers in the municipality, the port railway, and in Arab shops has begun at Haifa. Train services are being maintained. A .Jew was wounded at Jaffa and Four Arabs were killed in minor encounters with the Government forces. Two Jewish settlements near Haifa ivere attacked on September 20 and three Jews were killed. The burning of .Jewish property and sniping on Jewish colonies continue.
