NORTH SHORE LADIES CHAMPIONSHIPS FINALISED SUCCESS OF MISS M. STEVENS The championships of the North Shore Ladies' Golf Club were finalised yesterday. The results were as follows: — Seniors.—Semi-finals: Miss M. Stevens beat Mrs. W. Houghton (i and 5; Miss (). Stevens beat Mrs. W. Prentice, 4 and 3. Final: Miss M. Stevens beat Miss O. Stevens, at the 19th. Intermediates.—Semi-finals: Mrs. E. Cox beat Mrs. Jacobi, 4 and 3; Miss R. Webster beat Mrs. J. Morrison, 1 up. Final: Miss Webster beat Mrs. Cox, 2 and 1. Juniors.—Semi-finals: Miss I. Stewart beat Miss E. Dumhleton, 8 and 7; Miss T. Coupe beat Mrs. E. Preston, 3 and 2. Final: Miss Stewart beat Miss Coupe, 2 and 1. A Stableford bogey match played in conjunction with the championships resulted in a tie between Miss R. Gillett and Miss N. Mason. The former won on a recount. OPEN DAY LADIES' TOURNAMENT There was a word entry for the annual open tournament of the Wellsford Ladies' Golf Club. Among the low-markers were Miss .1. White being runnerup. In the junior Stableford event, A. Taylor proved the winner, and R. Graham was runner-up. The consolation prize was won by Robinson.
