SALESMAN FOR TRIAL
Charged with assaulting a young woman on August 26, and with assaulting her with intent to commit rape. Maxwell James Sing, salesman, aged 20, appeared before Mr. C. P. Orr Walker, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail of £'lso was renewed. Detective-Sergeant McHugh prosecuted and Mr. Stevens appeared for accused.
