DARGAVILLE CLUB [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Wednesday The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Dargaville Croquet Club:—Patron. Mr. H. H. Tonkin; president. Mrs. H. H. Tonkin: vice-president, Mrs. T. Phillips: secretary, Mrs. J. O. Hayesj committee, Mesdames F. Layther, J. Thurui ton, L. Smith, C. Vause. WAIPU CLUB'S MEETING ~ [from omt OWN correspondent] . WHANGARET, Wednesday There was a large gathering of members at tho annual meeting of the Waipu CroquofiF Club. Tho balance-sheet presented showed a very favourable position. Mrs. D. J. McLean was re-elected president, Mrs. R. F. McKay, secretary and treasurer, and Mrs. Rimmei} ground superintendent. In recognition of her services to the cluh ns secretary and treasurer during the pas{j[ threo years, the president, Mrs. McLean* presented Mrs. McKay with a gift from' th» members.
