BUILDING PROGRAMME ADDITIONS TO PAVILIONS [from our own correspondent] x HAMILTON, "Wednesday No effort is being spared by the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association to ensure that the Royal Show, which will be held at Clauctelands from October 27 to 29, is a complete success. A most comprehensive building and renovating scheme is being carried out by the association. A number of permanent additions have been provided in the sheep pavilion. New loose boxes (and stalls for hacks and hunters have been constructed," while improvements have also been carried out in the cattle and pig pavilions. ■ Tho enormous quantity of car traffic expected at the show has been catered for by the construction of a new roadway from Boundary Road Into the ground. A number of new paddocks, have been fenced off for the convenience of exhibitors, while two new ramps have been provided to facilitate quicker loading and unloading. New concrete areas where cattle and pigs may' be washed down have been constructed. - - , Permanent electric lighting has been installed in the sheep pavilion and temporary lighting in the other buildings. The Hamilton Kennel Club has effected considerable improvements to the benching in the dog pavilion. <. A new and much larger lay-out 'is to be provided for the machinery and implement exhibits, while a - special amusement park is to be set aside for side-shows and stalls.
