"RAGE OF PARIS"

COMEDY FOR THE REGENT The yourig actress Miss Danielle Darricux, frosli from French films, makes a notable appearance in the Universal picture "Kafio of Paris," which is to commence a season nt the Hegent Theatro to-morrow. Sho shows such decisive ability that it is safe to predict her success in English-speaking films. Sho has beauty, much feminine clmrm and magnetism, hu 111 our, grace and a fascinating accent She in cast as a penniless girl looking for modelling work in America, She moots a former actress, Helen .Broderick, who takes charge of her and, with a head waiter, played by Mischa A tier-, schemes to catch a rich husband for her protege. Louis Hayward takes the role of the projected "wealthy husband," He has n friend, played by Douglas Fairbanks, junior, who is determined that he will not fall into tho hands of this adventuress, and the plot unwinds along these lines. The atmosphere is distinctly French, the bettings nre brilliant and elaborate,, and the light comedy strips, along with delightful insouciance and gaiety, with each actor giving a elcan-ci/t and most, acceptable performance. The film ends with the French girl falling in love with the friend of the man sho is intended to marry.
