CHILDREN'S HOUR

Sir, —Permit me to compliment "Country Listener"' on his effort in Friday's paper. As a model of just indignation it was admirable. If "Country Listener" hopes to arouse m.v sympathy, he will be disappointed. I commend 111" letter of "Discontented 12-Ycar-Old" to him. That is the crux of my complaint. When one hears aunts and uncles wishing two and three-year-olds happv returns, it surely arouses one's ire. As il those tiny tots could understand il! As for the unfortunate kiddies in hospital, 1 think an hour or two in the afternoon would he bettor for them. My first letter was written after various conversations with children on the very subject. Nearly all of them said that '• hey never listened to the children's hour. Jrc nk S.us Pas.
