INCREASE IN GERMANY PEOPLE'S DREAD OF WAR / NAZIS CLAIM VICTORY LONDON, Sept. 10 The visit to Bercklesgaden of Chamhcrlai 11 has enormously increased ■ British prestige, says the Berlin correspondent ot the Daily Telegraph. Conversations of people in all walks of life in Berlin show'that Britain is popularly regarded as the saviour of Europe from immediate war, which the man-in-thc-street had watched approaching with horror and dismay. The Nazis', however, believe that it "leans another bloodless victory over the democracies, since Herr Hitler never .yields and never alters hi* course, and &inco Mr- Chamberlain wishes to negotiate whereas the Fuehrer does not. It is assumed that Herr Hitler will Hot concede an inch, although he may a gree to a Might slowing down of his relentless advance.
