CHILDREN'S HOUR

Sir, —Your correspondent ".To rie sais Pas" says that the children's hour is very boring and should ho abolished. The reason why it is boring is because of the incessant calling-out. of birthdays and because the programmes are so badly arranged. If the children's hours were arranged as the British ones are I am sure our elders would not mind listening to them. For the children's hour in England, they have two or three weekly instalments of about half an hour,' of a long serial play, a tiling which the children get once a year here. There are also many other features which are omitted and which would make the children's hour one of the day's highlights and not to bo missed. Discontented 12-yeak-oi.d.
