SUPPORT FOR GERMANY
FIGHT AGAINST REDS ASSURANCE BY JAPAN ALLEGATION OF INTRIGUE (Received September 14, 0.30 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 14 The spokesman for the Japanese Foreign Office stated to-day that Japan is prepared, as ever, to join Germany in fighting the Beds in accordance with the anti-Communist agreement, says a message from Tokio.
The text of tho spokesman's statement is: "Japan is fully prepared to join. forces with Germany to fight with evory means against the Communists, in accordance with our agreement. Japan hopes the great Powers, such as Britain and Franco, will recognise that Communist intrigue is responsible for the present European crisis and will act accordingly for tho sake of world peace.
"The Japanese nation is full of admiration- for and sympathy with Herr Hitler's speech, which is interpreted as a genuine expression of patriotism demanding a solution of the Sudeten problom with justice. The peace treaty was responsible for racial complications of which the Communists are taking advantage by pulling the strings behind tho Czechoslovak Government. The machinations of the Communists in Czechoslovakia are similar to their subterranean activities in China."
