Herr Henlein's newspaper Dor Zeit has suspended publication on the grounds that it is not in a position to present its views uncensored. Renter's correspondent motored through Sudeten regions. He says a tenso atmosphere is everywhere apparent. A Czech officer fired on Major Sut-ton-Pratt, observer attached to the British Legation who arrived at Egor when armoured cars were firing in the streets. Major Sutton-Pratt went to a police station and explained that the firing must cease immediately. This order was obe3'ed.
