CLAIM BY SUDETENS
SELF- DETERMINATION REFUSAL EXPECTED both sides unyielding brief breathing space By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received September 14, 0.15 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 14 Nothing had emerged by 9 o'clock this morning to answer the question on all lips: "What next?" beyond a suggestion in official circles in Berlin that a Sudeten delegation was on the way to Prague to see Dr. Benes, Czech President, this morning. It is suggested the breathing space will be brief, since it is not expected the Czechs will grant self-determination, and the Sudetens will not retreat from their position. The German press, for the most part, predicts disorders everywhere among the Sudetens.
The Berlin message referred to says it is stated in Nazi circles that a Sudeten delegation is going to Prague this morning to demand "yes" or "no" from Dr. Benes to a straight question: ")Vill you give us the right of self-determination or not?"
Mr. Ward Price/ correspondent of the Daily Mail, in a message,, from Munich, says: "I am told the Sudeten leader's ultimatum represents his own decision. Herr Henlein retains control of the relations between the Sudeten Germans and the Czechs."
