PARK IMPROVEMENTS
SCHEME AT HAMILTON [jhom oi'ii own cmhukspondknt] ] IAMI Wi'(>X, Wrdnrnday A scheme for the improvement of lliuemoa Park is being prepared for the Hamilton .Doinniu Hoard by Mr. F. ,\. Swarbrick in co-operation with the borough engineer, Mr. M. W'orlov. It is proposed to bank the edges of the park so that u good view of the arena may be obtained by spectators, JO.OOO yards ,of spoil being secured from Garden Plnco Hill at an esticost of L'MCi.
The proposed improvements to Hinemoii Park will leave room for only one football field, but it is planned to proviso accommodation for Kugby elsewhere. Athletics will be held at the park during the summer ajid the cricket authorities will use the ground for special matches.
