MEET AT HOWICK SOME EXCELLENT RUNS THREE KILLS MADE Ideal conditions favoured the meet of the Pakuranga Hunt at Cox's Corner, Howick Road, yesterday, when there was a large number of followers.; The weather was fine and there was a good scent. Three kills were made during the day. . The hounds threw of 011 Mr. J. ; Aubrey's farm and worked through to Mr. \V. Guy's property, where a hare was put up. The hare crossed to Mr*?A. ■ Trust's land and then passed through the properties of Messrs. E. Woods, B. Speechley and I. Guthrie and doubled back before being ao : counted for on Mr. Robert Hattaway's ' farm. ■
A move was then made to Mr. Roy. j Hattaway's farm, where a hare was : put up. It made a wide circuit across Mr. R. Wilson's property and after* doubling back was killed in-a clump ofi Another hare gave a* great run, crossing from Mr. Wilson's property to that of Mr. W. Andrews and was eventually accounted for on Mr. Hsslip's farm. A further draw was mada on Mr. Aubrey's farm without suoccss. Among those who followed the hounds ,vere:—The master. Mr. H.
