CANON COATS' SUCCESSOR
REV. H. ISHERWOOD APPOINTED The appointment of the Rev. H. L. R. Isherwood, vicar of St. John's Church, Northcote, to the parish 'of St. Luke's, Mount Albert, in succes-
siou to Canon 11. G. Coats, is announced. Canon Coats is to take the cure of St. Matthew's and expects to commence his duties there in November.
Mr. Isherwood, who has been vicar of St John's, Northcote, since 1934, studied at St. John's College, Auckland, and was ordained priest in 1927. He was curate at Ellerslio until 1929, when ho was appointed vicar of Bay of Islands, a position ho held until* his appointment to Northcote.
