WEDDING AT MOUNT EDEN

BRIDE IN RUSSIAN BLUE CHRISTIANSEN—BISHOP The weddiqg took placo at St. Barnabas' Church, Mount Eden, on Thursday, of Miss Zena Mary Bishop, youngest daughter of Mr. Archibald Bishop, of Mount Edon, to Mr. lludolph William Christiansen, formerly of Christchurch, and now of Auckland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. It. Monteith. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of Russian blue crepe and a large navy hat encircled with tiny velvet flowers in shades of cyclamen nnd blue. She carried a bouquet of flowers in the same colouring. In attendance 011 the bride was Miss Molly Meinhold, of Wellington, who woro a frock of dusky pink matt crepe and matching hat. Sho carried a bouquet of hyacinths and cyclamens fastened with olive green velvet streamers. Mr. .James Cnrnachnn attended the bridegroom as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at 4 Disraeli Street, Mount Eden, where Mr. and Mrs. Bishop received the guests, the latter wearing a frock of grey lace superimposed on coral crepe and a block hat relieved with coral roses. A silver fox fur was also worn and sho carried a bouquet of flowers to tone. Assisting Mr. and Mrs. Rishop was Miss Shepherd, aunt of the bride, who wore navy blue crepe, with touches of fuschia colour, and hat in the same two shades. She carried a bouqmjt to match. Tho rooms and tables were arranged with sweet peas, cyclamen and violets; Out-of-town guests included Mrs. S. A. Power, of To Kuiti, sister of tho bride, and Mrs. John Mason, of Wellington. The bride travelled in a suit of Russian blue angora, with navy hat and furs.
