AUCKLANDER'S SUCCESS
PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITIONS Illustrating how New Zealand still holds a leading position in tho world's international salons of photography, Mr. H. J. Schmidt, of Auckland, has been informed of his success at seven recent international exhibitions. At one of them, the Hungarian interna tioJia I Salon, lie was awarded tho silver medal. Other exhibitions where his work wns accepted were the Australian Tri-Centcnary Exhibition of Art Photography, at Sydney; the exhibitions of the Nctherland-Indies International Salon, at Java: the Bolton International Salon, in England• tho Barry International Salon, in Wales; the Austrian International Salon, in Vienna ; and the A briers International Salon, in North Africa.
