SNOOKER
OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP The open snooker championship was continued in Barton McGill's billiard haH last evening, when A. Moon defeated W. Thompson. Tnompson potted well in the first game to win wjtfa pink and black. Moon potted very cleanly in the second game and had a substantial margin with the colours on the table, to finish with a good margin. In the third game Moon had obtained a good margin when the last red had been potted. He maintained his advantage to win gamo and match. Thompson did not have many opportunities in the last two games. The tournament will bo continued this evening when J. Black will meet C. Lawson at 7.30 o'clock, and C. Spencer will play W. Rundell at 8.30 o'clock.
