QUESTION OF VOTING

PUBLIC MUTUAL INSURANCE DISSATISFACTION EXPRESSED [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] ROTORUA, Monday Policy holders in the Public Mutual Insurance Company held a meeting in Rotorua on Saturday, when dissatisfaction was expressed with a proviso in the circular that only members who have paid the levy will be entitled to vote at the general meeting on September 22.

A sub-committee was set up to interview Mr. A. F. Moncur, M.P., who was asked to endeavour to secure legislation making it possible for all policy holders, to vote at the meeting. Mr. Moncur undertook to have an urgent question asked in the House of Representatives.
