OCTOBER 26 LIKELY MINISTER'S INDICATION SESSION'S WORK NEARING END [BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPOItTER] WELLINGTON, Sunday According to present indications, another three weeks should see all the necessary work of the House of Representatives completed, and the final adjournment of the Dominion's 2otli Parliament should be taken by September 23.
No definite date lias been fixed, but the general impression in political circles is that the general election will be held 011 October 2G.
This expectation seems justified in view of a remark by the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash, when speaking at Petone. "If I am judge," said Mr. Nash, "the election will be over and done with by the end of October."
